Dogs and owners love the Gary B. Jones Dog Park in Tamarac. Especially when the weather is beautiful and cool like it was this January weekend. There were people from all over visiting with their dogs and the dogs were having the time of their lives hanging out with old and new friends.
We enjoy the the Gary B Jones Dog Park because it is a clean, well-maintained park that has some great features: tall water fountains for people and short ones for dogs, a dog-washing area, a large and a small dog area, covered pavilions and a concrete walking path for the adults.

Do you like the classes that are offered by the City of Tamarac? Our family does. The Parks and Recreation Department really has a good selection, and the prices are fantastic. One of the biggest deterrents I find in signing up, is registering. I have to go during business hours to the Aquatic Center, the […]
The good news is that Tamarac is building a park towards its east side; the bad news is that it won’t happen for at least five years. I found out about this future park from a former city employee. I had no idea there were plans, or even land, for a park out east. A city […]
Many of the dog owners I’ve met on my weekly trips to the dog park are the friendliest people I’ve ever come across.
