Help Police Find for Armed Gas Station Robbers

Police are searching for two men that committed armed robbery on Tuesday at the Chevron Gas Station located at the corner of North University Drive and Commercial Boulevard in Lauderhill.

It happened at 2:15 a.m. when two Hispanic males entered the business and one of them produced a black semiautomatic handgun and pointed it at the store clerk demanding money from the register, while the second male took multiple alcoholic beverages from the refrigerator. The store clerk complied with the suspect’s demands.

Both suspects exited the store and fled south on N. University Dr., in a dark colored older model station wagon with tinted windows. The suspect with the gun was described as a Hispanic male, 5’7”, in his early 20’s, with short black spiky hair, medium complexion, thin build, unshaven, and wearing a black hooded sweater. The second suspect was described as a Hispanic male, medium complexion, with medium black spiky hair 5’8”, in his mid 20’s, wearing a blue hooded sweater.

The same two males were captured on video earlier in the night. These males entered the store and spoke with the clerk. The Lauderhill Police Department is asking for help with the Identification of the two unknown suspects.
