Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives have released surveillance video from an armed robbery at a Tamarac sandwich shop December 5, 2012.
An armed robber entered the Subway restaurant at 4601 NW 31 Avenue in Tamarac around 7:45 p.m., and pushed a woman holding a two-year-old baby out of the way at the counter and cleaned out the cash register before taking off.
The suspect is a black male in his 30’s, around six-feet in height and weighing 220 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair and was wearing a black t-shirt, dark basketball pants and had a black cloth covering his face.
A man and a woman who witnessed the robber’s getaway followed him to the area of NW 44 Street near Boyd Anderson High School, where they lost sight of him in the duplexes there.
