Armed Robber Hits Tamarac Subway Restaurant

A man armed with a handgun carrying a crumpled plastic bag, walked casually into a Tamarac Subway Restaurant demanding cash.

On April 12, just after 8 p.m. the robber, seen on surveillance, walked into the Subway at 5100 W. Commercial Blvd. in Tamarac armed with a handgun. He summoned the employee from the kitchen to the front of the restaurant and demanded that he empty the cash register and place the money in his plastic bag. He then left as he had entered, casually.

The robber, seen on surveillance video, has long dreadlocks, a goatee and appears to be 5’11”. He was wearing a black cap, a black long-sleeved sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and black-and-white sneakers.
