The Broward Sheriff’s Office in North Lauderdale is partnering with Home Depot for a workshop focused on building bonds within the community.
The ‘Building Bonds with BSO’ workshop will take place on Saturday, May 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Home Depot, 1195 State Road 7.
This free event is designed for children aged 3 to 12 and is open to all residents of North Lauderdale and the surrounding areas. Parents or legal guardians must accompany their children throughout the workshop.
The ‘Building Bonds with BSO’ workshop will feature raffles, giveaways, free food, and, most importantly, a hands-on building experience with deputies from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.
During the workshop, every child will have the opportunity to select a building kit of their choice and will receive guidance from knowledgeable Home Depot staff to construct it. Additionally, all participants will be given a Home Depot apron and a certificate of completion to honor their accomplishments.
For more information about the event, contact Deputy Jessie Alvarez at 954-720-2269.
