Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates to residents, this is a summary of Tamarac crimes through November 2.
Aggravated Battery
5700 block of NW 58th Ave
On October 27, the victim was punched in the face by her boyfriend and suffered severe swelling and a laceration requiring four stitches.
Battery
8800 block of NW 78th St – Lakeview Flats
On October 29, BSO responded out to a domestic battery that occurred in the home. The battery was between two adults that have a child in common. The child’s mother sprayed the father with pepper spray in the back of the head. The child’s mother was charged.
6500 block of NW 70th Ave – Tamarac Point
On October 30, a witness called 911 when he observed a domestic dispute in the parking lot of an apartment complex. A not in custody probable cause affidavit was prepared.
Burglary Conveyance from Auto
7800 block of NW 86th Ter
On October 28, Three subjects arrived in the cul-de-sac at 11:36 PM in a white vehicle. They got out and started checking car doors. Two vehicles were left unlocked at this address. An unknown tool was taken from one vehicle. Subjects then fled the area.
4600 block of King Palm Dr – The Woodlands
On October 28, BSO met with the caller who advised an unknown subject gained entry to her 2013 white Ford Fusion via an unlocked door and ransacked her vehicle. Nothing of value was taken.
8300 block of Sands Point Blvd
On October 29, the victim had left the vehicle unlocked. An unknown suspect stole her Target Visa as well as FL and CA ID cards.
5000 block of Island Club Dr – Island Club
On October 30, during an overnight burglary of a vehicle, the driver’s side door sustained damage to the lock where forced entry was made. Approx. $5 in loose change and a glasses case taken. No known suspects at this time.
7900 block of Catalina Cir
On October 31, an unknown subject(s) entered an unlocked white 2020 Honda Pilot bearing FL Tag PGRC59 and stole a purse left on the floor of the rear passenger side. Items stolen were 12 credit cards and a Florida DL. The vehicle was processed for Latent Prints, and the area was canvassed.
9900 block of N Grand Duke Cir- Plum Bay
On October 29, an unknown suspect(s) made entry into multiple vehicles overnight. No forced entry was made to the vehicles.
4800 block of Mango Dr
On October 29, the victim’s vehicle was burglarized.
8300 block of Sands Point Blvd
On October 28, an unlocked vehicle was burglarized. A wallet was stolen. Surveillance collected
Domestic Disturbance
5500 block of Nw 31st Ave
On October 30, a divorced couple who still reside together were verbally arguing over the male half having contact and photographs of females on his cellphone.
9700 block of NW 76th Ct
On October 30, a domestic disturbance occurred in the residence while their two-year-old daughter was present. The wife (the victim) is moving back to India on October 31.
Fraud
6401 W Commercial Blvd – Walgreens
On October 23, a prescription order was placed via landline for Promethazine w/codeine fraudulently by using a doctor`s DEA number.
Found Property
11000 W McNab Rd
On October 28, an anonymous person turned in a found wallet.
3800 W Commercial Blvd – La Quinta
On October 27, a Black Kel-Tech 9MM firearm was left in room #315.
5600 N University Dr – BB&T
On October 29, a yellow metal ring left in a safety deposit box was placed there after being found in the lobby by an employee in 2014. The bank is clearing out the safety deposit box, and the ring was entered into safekeeping.
Criminal Mischief
4945 NW 48th Way – Sunset Moving And Storage
On October 29, a disgruntled employee damaged a company vehicle.
8701 W Commercial Blvd – Tamarac Library
On October 29, A commission candidate and a volunteer were involved in a verbal argument.
Information
10891 Angel Wing Dr
On October 28, an employee of a paving company walked in between the bucket and body of a Bobcat front end loader in an attempt to get a cigarette. As the male leaned forward, he set both of his arms in the hydraulic joysticks. As the joysticks dropped down, the bucket released and severed a portion of his right foot, including three toes. He was transported to Broward Medical
Theft
2700 block of NW 55th St
October 28, BSO met with the victim, who advised two unknown females entered her home, pretending to be a friend of her son and stole jewelry, credit cards, and cash from her home.
4191W Commercial Blvd – Dollar Tree
On Oct 2, and reported October 29, the complainant advised her red iPhone 11 64 GB was stolen while at the Dollar Tree.
6855 NW 70th Ave – Harbor Chase
On October 29, a dementia patient had three checks taken from her and cashed in a former employee`s name. The daughter reported it to the business, who stated he had been recently fired for unrelated actions.
6900 N University Dr – CVS
On October 30, an unknown male walked into the CVS and stole several items. The total amount of the theft was $87.12.

Nivar, Domingo Antonio (W M, 39) was arrested on charges of Warrant – Criminal Use Personal Id Info at 7515 N Pine Island Rd, Tamarac, on 10/28/2020.
Butler, Stanford Kayzeon (BM,29) was arrested on charges of Burgl-conveyance Unoccupied/unarmed at 3915 W Commercial Blvd, Tamarac, on 10/30/2020.
Charles, Hary (B M, 35) was arrested on charges of Felony Battery -domestic Viol at 4028 Lakeside Dr, Tamarac, on 11/01/2020.
