Gentle Ben has no business being in the mean world of politics. He’s just too much of a softie. His conservative party may want him to be a bit tougher, but that’s just not in his nature. The School Board race for District 4 will have a competitive season now that six candidates have filed to run in the open seat. More candidates have filed to run in District 4 race than for any other school board race in the county.
