The City of Tamarac and Mayor Michelle Gomez honors the men and women who served during the Vietnam War on Monday, March 29.
National Vietnam War Veterans Day is observed every year as a way to thank and honor our nation’s veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice. This includes U.S. Armed Forces personnel with active duty service between November 1, 1955, to May 15, 1975 — regardless of the location of service.
All Tamarac Vietnam War Veterans are invited to sign the honorary Vietnam War Flag, which will be displayed at the Tamarac Community Center to honor their patriotic service and sacrifice.
Veterans in attendance will receive a commemorative Vietnam War pin, and refreshments will be available to all guests. It takes place at Tamarac Veterans Park from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. at 7825 Southgate Blvd.
