The city is seeking additional Veterans to be added to the Honor Wall, and are accepting applications for those that live or have ever lived in Tamarac.
The series of glass panels bearing the names of servicemen and women at Veterans’ Memorial Park was created by artist Zachary Knudson of Coral Springs using tempered glass. The transparent panels encircle the park’s existing eternal flame sculpture, and is illuminated at night.
Online applications are available Veteran’s Honor Wall. This can be completed by residents or their survivors. Proof of Tamarac residency and honorable discharge from the military are required.
