A Message from Jared Smith, Broward Health Coral Springs CEO

It is my sincere pleasure to share helpful healthcare information related to the high-quality services provided at Broward Health Coral Springs.

Heart disease is the leading cause of death for men in the United States, accounting for 1 in every 4 male deaths. Earlier this year, Broward Health Coral Springs was designated as a Level 1 Heart Program by the Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA), which means that the most acute heart attack patients will be able to receive critical interventional care.

The hospital’s latest innovations include a STEMI heart program and a state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab, which provides advanced care inclusive of percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs) and diagnostic procedures.

Coronary artery disease (CAD) is the most common type of heart disease. It is the leading cause of death in the United States in both men and women. Determine your risk for developing CAD here.

If you would like to share comments about your experience at Broward Health Coral Springs or provide input and suggestions on how we may further meet your needs, please email me at BHCSCEO@browardhealth.org.

In good health,

Jared Smith
