Summer is around the corner and this means day camps to keep the kids occupied and entertained.
According to Mayor Michelle Gomez, the City of Tamarac still has openings for a variety of positions. Training starts the week of June 14, and summer camp begins June 21 – August 6.
Safety for campers and staff will be in check with mandatory face coverings. Everyone will receive temperature checks upon arrival and once during the day. There will be frequent hand washing, and anyone showing signs of illness will be sent home.
Jobs pay between $8.65 to $20 an hour, depending on the position.
Summer Camp Junior Counselor Seasonal – $8.65 Hourly
Summer Camp Exceptional Educational Specialist Seasonal – $20.00 Hourly
Summer Camp Recreation Assistant Seasonal – $12.00 Hourly
Summer Camp Campus Monitor Seasonal – $14.00 Hourly
Summer Camp Recreation Leader II Seasonal – $12.00 Hourly
Summer Camp Recreation Leader I Seasonal – $10.00 Hourly
Summer Camp Junior Counselor Seasonal – $8.65 Hourly
