Tamarac and the Florida Department of Health in Broward are expanding COVID-19 testing locations.

With over 47,000 new COVID-19 cases across Florida, these figures are the highest since the pandemic began.

According to a memo from the interim assistant city manager, Levent Sucuoglu, they have secured a licensing agreement between Tamarac, DOH-Broward, and a testing provider.

The goal is to have a site operational shortly after the paperwork is completed on Jan. 3, at a Tamarac location that has not been made public.

In conjunction with DOH-Broward, the City of Coral Springs provides testing at Mullins Hall (opening Jan. 3) at 10150 NW 29th St. and Sportsplex Park with NOMI Health from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Closed on New Year’s Day. Testing Hours are seven days a week from 8 a.m.- 7 p.m., weather permitting.

North Lauderdale and Lauderhill residents can visit Pompano Park at 4001 Bailey Road in North Lauderdale, Tuesday through Saturday, from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Testing will be available at Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium on  Jan. 11, 2022, and Lauderhill Sports Park, opening on Jan. 4, 2022.
