Burglary and Battery in the Forefront in May 15 Crime Update for Tamarac

Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates to residents, this is a summary of crimes that occurred in Tamarac through May 25.

Animal bite

7106 Nw 80th Ave

On May 25, a three-year-old female was bitten by a dog on the left side of her face, resulted in a small abrasion and scratch marks.

Battery

5000 block Island Club Dr

On May 21, after a verbal altercation, the offender pulled the earring out of his wife’s right ear with force and pushed her multiple times. The offender was transported to the BSO Main Jail without incident.

10700 block of W Clairmont Cir

On May 22, The male victim and Laura Nunez got into an argument leading to Nunez scratching Mills several times on both arms, the chest, and torso. Nunez was placed into custody and to BSO main jail.

4500 block of Treehouse Lane

On May 22, Offender spat on the victim’s face after a verbal argument. An out of custody probable cause was generated for the offender.

Burglary Residence

10700 block of Nw 71st Pl

On May 19, a 91-year-old male was robbed after the suspect(s) posed as FPL workers. Loss approximately $5,000

Burglary Conveyance

8020 block of Nob Hill Rd. St Andrews Community

On May 21, BSO responded out to document a burglary to a conveyance. The victim states when returning back to his vehicle, items from his car were stolen. A Smith & Wesson 40.cal value ($400) with a full magazine, Dell Latitude value ($600), Samsung Galaxy 7 valued ($200) Osmo Go Pro value ($200), Samsung Note 8 value ($300) Air Jordan 13 Black Cat valued ($200), and blank Chase checks were stolen a total value loss of $1,900.

6600 block of NW 72nd St. Tamarac – Sunflower

On May 25, the victim’s unlocked vehicle was burglarized.

5700 block of NW 66th Ter.

On May 25, an unknown male entered the victim’s vehicle without her permission. The victim reported the fled westbound on foot. Victim advised the only property that may have been stolen from the vehicle was loose change.

4460 block of NW 48 Terrace – Hidden Trails

On May 15, an unknown suspect(s) broke into a black 2020 Lexus via an unlocked door. Nothing was taken from the vehicle. Note several vehicles in the same neighborhood were also burglarized.

5080 block of Island Club

On May 23, Originally caller advised she witnessed two males attempting to make entry into her vehicle. Upon arrival, the caller advised the two males did not make entry into her vehicle but area canvassed revealed a vehicle that had its rear driver side window shattered.

9600 block S Belfort Cir. – Belfort

On May 23, two unlocked vehicles were ransacked by unknown subjects. A total of $15.00 was stolen.

8400 block of NW 61st St

On May 19, AR pistol taken from the trunk of the vehicle overnight. The vehicle apparently left unlocked since there was no forced entry.

Criminal Mischief

7000 block of NW 97th Ave,

On May 23, an unknown person smashed out 15 separate window panes to a residence. The victim believed it to be his girlfriend since they did not come home last night. Witness heard noises next door and saw a blue sedan in front of the residence.

Domestic Disturbance

4400 block of Treehouse Lane

On May 21, a man had a verbal argument with his mother about taking his medications. He eventually complied and took his medications without incident. Lorenzo did not meet the Baker Act criteria at this time.

9400 block of NW 82nd St,

On May 25, BSO responded to a 911 hang up. It was found to be a verbal domestic dispute.

Found

7200 block of N University Dr,

On May 20, unknown white powder and an unknown white pill were taken from destruction. The items were found a male after being admitted voluntarily, into the Baker Act Unit.

Fraud

3833 W Commercial Blvd – Bank of America

On May 4, an unknown person(s) deposited three fraudulent checks into the victim’s account using an ATM.

Public Intoxication

5319 N State Road 7

On May 19, Raul Reynoso was arrested for drinking in public contrary to Tamarac City ordinance, and violation of probation (Possession of Cocaine.

Retail Theft

8199 N University Dr – Walgreens

On May 22, the manager of Walgreens called to report a theft. Two unknown suspects entered the store wearing facial covering and took cosmetic products. An ID was found outside of the store by a customer who claims it fell off one of them.

3915 W Commercial Blvd – CVS

On May 23, an unknown male went inside the store with a shopping cart and stole approximately $467.88 worth of items.

5881 N University Dr. – Publix

On May 24, an unknown subject passed all points of sale & exit the store with three boxes of 24-pack of Corona Light Beer. The store manager advised the subject grabbed the beer from the display that was in the front of the store. The three boxes of Corona Light Beer total value was at $44.97. The unknown subject got in a silver Chrysler PT Cruiser (unknown tag) with rear damage & fled the area heading towards University Drive southbound.

3150 W Commercial Blvd – Family Dollar

On May 24, a male wearing all black walked out of the store while carrying two towels and one rug valued at $18 dollars. The suspect left as a passenger in a black Toyota with tag # Y84NC.

Recovered Property

4400 block of Treehouse Ln

On May 19, a 2019 blue Honda Accord was recovered out of the above location. No suspects at this time. The vehicle was processed for latent prints with negative results.

Stalking

8100 block Pine Cir.

On May 21, female alleges she has been receiving text messages from an ex-friend despite having been served an injunction order.

Stolen Property

4400 block of Treehouse Ln

On May 19, a theft of FL-Tag occurred. The victim went to the grocery store and returned home and advised the vehicle’s FL-Tag was on the vehicle when she parked the vehicle in the parking lot. She returned to her vehicle and her tag was not there.

Theft Bicycle

6800 block of Southgate Blvd – Mission Lakes

On May 19, the victim reported two of her bicycles were stolen from the side of her apartment complex. Bicycles were valued at $250 each.

Threats

10800 block of W Clairmont Cir,

On May 20, the female caller stated that her son that day and in the past would make threats whenever she doesn’t send him money to buy drugs. She stated she does not feel threatened but is annoyed at the fact that he keeps calling for money. Let it be noted that Craig has never acted out on any threats in the past, Betty was advised to file for a restraining order to protect her self from any contact with him.

Gallo, Michael (W M, 31) was arrested on charges of Trespassing-after Warning-structure Or Conveyance at 5319 N State Road 7, Tamarac, on 05/19/2020.

Reynoso, Raul (W M, 62) was arrested on charges of Municipal Ordinance Viol at 5319 N State Road 7, Tamarac, on 05/19/2020.

Gallo, Michael (W M, 31) was arrested on charges of Trespassing-after Warning-structure Or Conveyance at 5319 N State Road 7, Tamarac, on 05/20/2020.

Clark, Scott Herbert (O M, 27) was arrested on charges of Grand Theft Motor Vehicle at 5822 Swordfish Ct, Tamarac, on 05/20/2020.

Tremper, Allison Marie (W F, 26) was arrested on charges of Warrant/ Writ Of Arrest Bond $692 at 3873 W Commercial Blvd, Tamarac, on 05/20/2020.

Wilner, Gordon Scott (W M, 45) was arrested on charges of Warrant /Domestic Violence By Strangulation, No Bond at 3873 W Commercial Blvd, Tamarac, on 05/20/2020.

Deleon, Gilbert Lee (W M, 31) was arrested on charges of Warrant: Operating W/ Suspended driver’s license at 6301 N University Dr, Tamarac, on 05/20/2020.

Loredo, Samuel Sanchez (W M, 41) was arrested on charges of Touch Or Strike/battery/domestic Viol at 5047 Island Club Dr, Tamarac, on 05/21/2020.

Nunez, Laura Ines (W F, 61) was arrested on charges of Touch Or Strike/battery/domestic Viol at 10783 W Clairmont Cir, Tamarac, on 05/22/2020.

Clausel, Guillermo T. (B M, 36) was arrested on charges of Touch Or Strike/battery/domestic Viol at 4535 Treehouse Lane, Tamarac, on 05/22/2020.

Bowlin, Rohan Oliver (B M, 43) was arrested on charges of Agg Assault W/Deadly Weapon- Domestic Viol at 8201 Nw 73rd Ter, Tamarac, on 05/23/2020.
