Don’t miss the 12th Annual “Taste of Tamarac” & Business expo, the one event that’s not only a blast, it’s simply tasty!

Held on Saturday, October 17, 2015, this day of family fun will feature 28 local food businesses showcasing their tasty delights.. Residents will notice familiar food vendors from the past, plus nine new food stations to fill them on samples up as you enjoy music and chef demonstrations.

Chamber Executive Director Peter Mason said, “‘Bringing People and Business Together‘ is our tag line and the Taste of Tamarac does this in a great way. The sponsors and vendors put great effort and resources into this event to make this an affordable family fun occasion.”

He added that it’s also an opportunity for businesses to expand their professional network in order to generate new customers and increase sales while showcasing delectable food from local restaurants.

Chef Billy from Applebee’s in Tamarac will be returning this year followed by cooking demonstrations from local students in the Taravella Culinary Program, Tamarac Peruvian restaurant Saxsay, and newcomers Tin Fish will also be on stage making this a great foodie event.

Children are encouraged to dress in their Halloween costumes because there will be fun for them as well with an interactive zone with William Pennhouse Entertainment, and vendors like Coral Springs Monster Golf and Strikers Family Sportscenter from Sunrise.

At the front of the Community Center there will be a mini Arts and Crafts fest, a preview of the April 2nd & 3rd Arts and Craft Festival that the Chamber will be hosting and cookbooks will be on sale where proceeds will go towards that event.

“The Board of Directors and I want everyone to enjoy Taste of Tamarac and support the businesses and organizations that make it all possible,” said Mason.
