The City of Tamarac and the Greater Tamarac Chamber of Commerce presents the 7th Annual Health & Wellness Expo, a free event offering a variety of activities and entertainment for the family.
This popular event sponsored by University Hospital & Medical Center, Goldson Spine, the Tamarac Dentist, and Planet Fitness will be taking place on Saturday February 6, 2016, at the Tamarac Community Center from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m where over 60 local vendors will be showcasing their organizations to the community. Bring your family, friends, to enjoy a a variety of exhibitors, activities music, entertainment, food, children’s activities, raffles and much more and expect to fill up on delicious and healthy snack samples, or be party to a dynamic fitness demonstration.
Health Screenings will also be available such as blood pressure, BMI, eye and hearing screenings with giveaways and valuable preventative, health and wellness information.
Exhibitors will include representatives from industries, practices and organizations such as: chiropractors, dentists, pharmacy’s, hearing, skin care, heart, diabetes, alert services, clinical research, home healthcare, publications, financial, insurance, gym’s, fitness classes, kids fit zone, medical centers, alzheimer’s, and nutrition.
Live entertainment from Shane Le Mar; face painting, healthy food and juice samples, and presentations from the City-run classes, Tamarac Cougar football, Reggae Fit, N Zone Sports.
Free raffle prizes including a Wii U Fit from Walmart Neighborhood Market, an adult bicycle by TD Bank, and a children’s bicycle by Bond Corporations. Predict the Super Bowl score and win a prize. There will be additional raffle prizes and giveaways will be from participating vendors.
