Tamarac seniors will have an opportunity to connect with local services, health resources and community organizations during an upcoming Senior Expo hosted by Commissioner Kicia Daniel.
Daniel, who represents District 4, will host the event Saturday, Aug. 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Faircrest 14 Clubhouse, 6990 NW 71st St.
The Senior Expo will bring a variety of resources together in one location, giving older residents and their families a chance to learn more about programs and services available in the community.
Local senior service exhibitors and vendors will be on hand, along with representatives who will offer information about home health care, caregiver resources, and health and wellness programs.
The event will also include giveaways and refreshments.
