After all those sweets from the holidays, it’s time to get back into action with the Tamarac Baseball and Basketball Spring Leagues.
Registration has officially opened for kids ages 6-17 years old.
Basketball practices start on March 22, 2022, and the games begin on April 2, 2022. Matches and Evaluations will take place at the Tamarac Community Center, 8601 W. Commercial Blvd.
Baseball practices will begin the week of April 4, 2022, and the games begin the week of April 23, 2022. Matches and evaluations will take place at Tamarac Park in the Sports Complex, 7501 N University Dr.
For children interested in taking a baseball clinic for ages 7-12 years, the registration period ends shortly on January 14, 2022. The fee for clinics is $30 for residents, $40 for non-residents.
Fees for both leagues are $85 for residents and $100 for non-residents. For all activities, register online or in-person at the Tamarac Community Center. Spots fill up quickly, so if your child’s age group is full – you can reach out at 954-597-3620 to be added to the waiting list.
Volunteers are needed for all teams in each age division. All volunteers must complete a Level 2 background check to be eligible in any capacity.
