Amyn Lakhani is on a mission: to create smiles on the faces of Tamarac residents.
As the owner/franchisee of the new Dunkin’ Donuts in Tamarac, he wants all his customers to enjoy their visits and leave happy.
“My goal is to have a convenient and comfortable neighborhood location where guests can enjoy a good tasting cup of coffee and fresh food. I want to create a friendly place for the local community,” said Lakhani.
Amyn Lakhani entered the doughnut industry through his father, Ali, and saw Dunkin’ Donuts as a promising business opportunity.
“For me, this has been a family business. I live five minutes away in Coral Springs, and I saw this as a good location for a new Dunkin’ Donuts. I own two more in Margate,” he said.
To be successful, Lakhani believes it is important to hire good people, let them do their jobs, and not micromanage. He wants to create good career opportunities in the community.
“You need to have a quality product, excellent service, and a clean environment,” said Lakhani. “Service at the drive-through must be fast.”
Expanding business is important to Lakhani, and to do that, he knows top-notch customer service is crucial. He has found that customers especially enjoy Boston cream and glazed doughnuts.
The grand opening celebration is Saturday, May 9, starting at 8 a.m.
Located at 7003 North Pine Island Road/88th Avenue, business hours are 4:30 a.m.–8 p.m. weekdays and 5 a.m.–8 p.m. weekends.
