A Tamarac man who was caught on surveillance camera scouting out unlocked vehicles in his condo development had stolen property and tools in his possession.
Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested David Banaszak, 36, on Thursday for a series of car burglaries in the Sands Point community in Tamarac.
Security footage from April 13 showed Banaszak as he looked for unlocked cars in the Sands Point parking lot. At the time of arrest Banaszak was in possession of burglary tools and some of the stolen property.
He faces seven counts of burglary of a conveyance, four counts of petit theft and two counts of grand theft.
