Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Tamarac crime and arrests through Oct. 3, 2022.

Auto Theft

NW 47th Ave.

Elvin

A person was the victim of Auto Theft on 09/27/2022. Tot. Est. Loss: $2,000.

E. Sabal Palm Blvd.

A person was the victim of Auto Theft on 09/27/2022. A white Honda Civic was stolen from an apartment complex parking lot.

Burglary Conveyance

NW 54th Way

Seven people were victims of Burglary Conveyance on 09/29/2022. Investigation revealed completed and/or attempted vehicle burglaries of seven vehicles in the same area.

Brookwood Blvd.

On 09/29/2022, the victim reported that an unknown suspect entered the victim’s vehicle and stole a backpack containing an immigration document.

Fraud

S. Isles Cir.

A person was the victim of Fraud – Wire on 09/27/2022. The victim wired money on two different dates into a trading account that was not a legitimate account. Tot. Est. Loss: $9,244.

Robbery

N. University Dr.

A business was the victim of Robbery on 09/27/2022. Two subjects were gone on arrival. Tot. Est. Loss: $80.

Theft

N. Colony Cir.

A person was the victim of Theft – Motor Vehicle Parts on 09/27/2022. Tot. Est. Loss: $2,000.

Arrests

Preal, Alexus Jimyse Humphrey, 26, was arrested on charges of Battery-cause Bodily Harm – Domestic Violence on N Colony Cir on 09/30/2022.

Ramos Rivas, Marcos Joel, 30, was arrested on charges of Warrant-VOP Resisting W/o Violence on N University Dr on 09/30/2022.

Mcneil, Sabrina, 34, was arrested on charges of Larc-grand Theft of $750 Less Than 5k Dols on W Commercial Blvd on 10/01/2022.

Jean, Gregory Romane, 28, was arrested on charges of Battery-on Officer Firefighter, Emt Etc on N University Dr on 10/02/2022.
