Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates to residents, this is a summary of crimes that occurred in Tamarac through July 20.
Aggravated Assault
6995 W McNab Rd – Kwik Stop
On July 17, the victim alleged that while at the Kwik Stop, two unknown white males exited a Silver Altima and proceeded to point a Rifle and handgun at him.
Aggravated Battery
5711 N University Dr – Golden Krust
On July 15, a dispute between coworkers where employee “suspect” took a knife and attacked another employee leaving a laceration on the forehead.
Auto Theft
2600 block of NW 53rd St – Tamarac Lakes One
On July 18, the victim advised he allowed his coworker to borrow his utility trailer, and while it was parked in his driveway, it was stolen. No Surveillance Available.
8700 block of Holly Ct – Holly Court Woodmont
On July 14, the vehicle was stolen at home from the address above.
Battery
4100 block of Lakeside Dr
On July 17, after a verbal argument, the offender pushed and hit the victim multiple times. The offender was gone upon law enforcement arrival.
7700 block of Granville Dr – Kings Point
On July 19, a grandmother and mother were physically attacked by daughter/granddaughter. Uncooperative victims, the offender fled the scene.
Burglary Business
3150 W Commercial Blvd – Family Dollar
On July 16, the suspect was placed into custody after he was seen entering the Family Dollar and attempted to steal from within the business.
6800 N Pine Island Rd – Colony West Country Club
On July 18, an unknown subject went inside the construction site and graffitied inside.
Burglary Conveyance
7100 block of NW 68th Av – Faircrest 14
On July 15, the victim advised an unknown suspect(s) stole his wallet containing cash and credit cards from his unlocked vehicle.
5724 N University Dr
On July 15, the victim’s vehicle was burglarized in front of the Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt restaurant while he was working.
4701 W Commercial Blvd – Tamarac Fire Department
On July 15, a firefighter/paramedic reported unknown suspect(s) removed a gas monitor from a side compartment of Fire Engine Q78 at an unknown location and time.
6100 block of Laurel Ln – Banyan Lakes
On July 19, the victim reported a burglary conveyance to her 2013 Volkswagen Jetta. Nothing was taken from the vehicle. Vehicle processed for latent prints with negative results. Area canvassed for camera surveillance. Suspect caught on cameras grabbing on door handles on vehicles in the neighborhood.
7200 block of Nw 80th Ave – Woodmont Natural Park
On July 19, the victim’s Honda Accord was burglarized by an unknown subject, who smashed the front passenger window and removed a backpack from the floorboard of the vehicle, without the victim’s knowledge or permission.
Burglary Residence
2500 block of NW 55th St – Tamarac Lakes North
On July 14, the listed victim had his safe, and three credit cards were stolen from his residence.
Criminal Mischief
8200 N University Dr – Bank of America
On July 14, an unknown person attempted to break into a Bank of America ATM.
Domestic Disturbance
9000 block of Lime Bay Blvd – Lime Bay
On July 17, a mother and her adult son engaged in a shoving match over the use of the car keys to go out. Both agreed on staying separated for the evening.
7000 block of NW 99th Way – Westwood
On July 19, deputies responded to a verbal domestic disturbance. While on the scene, the suspect kept telling deputies that he hopes they don’t get shot and played anti-law-enforcement music. No direct threats were made towards deputies.
Fraud
10304 W McNab Rd – City Electric Supply
On July 15, 2020, unknown subjects hacked the owner’s computer.
5901 Madison Av – Arrigo / Chrysler
On July 17, unknown male subjects purchased items using a fraudulent credit card.
5701 Madison Av – Hampton Inn & Suites
On July 17, the hotel manager called due to individuals paying with fraudulent credit cards.
Fire
4500 block of NW 47th Ter – Mainlands
On July 17, the roof at the above-listed address was being replaced, and the roofing company had their Tar Kettle parked on NW 45th CT, which is adjacent to the listed home. The Tar Kettle caught on fire, causing damage to the street.
Information
5750 block of Royal Way – Hampton Hills
On July 17, several complaints of animal abuse involving a dog being kept in a garage. Investigations revealed that the animal was in good health and had an adequate, safe, and clean area.
Theft/Retail Theft
3914 W Commercial Blvd – Walgreen’s
On July 14, a male subject entered the store and took five bottles of Tide and an umbrella. The subject was then seen getting into a black unknown make and model vehicle.
3116 W Commercial Blvd – Winn-Dixie
On July 15, the employee would perform a price check on items but never charged the customers. She said she was helping a couple of friends paying for groceries by not charging them. The employee admitted to the crime. An Adult Civil Citation was issued. The employee was fired and escorted out of the business.
4121 W Commercial Blvd – Publix
On July 16, the store manager reported a male who was shoplifting. The subject was placed into custody and released on a notice to appear.

On July 17, the store manager reported shoplifting in progress. The suspect stole $102.69 and was placed into custody and released on a notice to appear.
4999 N State Road 7 – 7 Eleven
On July 15, a male identified as Juan Pierce entered the store and stole items totaling $47.96. The suspect left the store before BSO arrived.
5200 block of Banyan Ln – Woodlands Country Club
On July 17, the complainant had several packages that were delivered by Amazon/UPS stolen from in front of his residence.
3914 W Commercial Blvd – Walgreens
On July 18, a male suspect entered the store and exited with six 92-ounce bottles of Tide Ultra Oxi Detergent, passing all points of sale without paying.
Theft all Other
6931 N Pine Island Rd – Walmart
On July 15, the victim’s iPhone X Max was stolen from the male restroom.
5500 block of NW 50th Ter – Central Parc
Between July 11 and July 12, the resident wished to report that nine cellphones he ordered were never delivered by UPS, who claim the phones were delivered on July 11.
Threats/ Intimidation
6100 block of NW 57th St – Woodland Meadows
On July 15, the suspect has been harassing the victim by calling her 40 times. The subject has made threats by saying, “I’m going to beat you up.” “I know where you live.”

Cuzzo, Joann Minutoli (W F 64) was arrested on charges of Warrant-Grand Theft In The 3rd Degree Bond: $1,000 at 9805 Nw 71st St, Tamarac, on 07/14/2020.
Johnson, Robert James (W M, 50) was arrested on charges of a Warrant at 8360 Sands Point Blvd, Tamarac, on 07/15/2020.
Johnson, Joshua Emmanuel (B M, 28) was arrested on charges of Larc-petit Theft 2nd Degree 1st Offense at 4121 W Commercial Blvd, Tamarac, on 07/16/2020.
Tucker, Eugene Ray (B M, 35) was arrested on charges of Burglary-Structure Unoccupied/Unarmed at 3150 W Commercial Blvd, Tamarac, on 07/16/2020.
Camacho, Carlos Miguel (W M, 25) was arrested on charges of Touch Or Strike/Battery/Domestic Viol at 4133 Lakeside Dr, Tamarac, on 07/17/2020.
Willis, Jason Douglass Clay (B M, 41) was arrested on charges of Larc-petit Theft 2nd Degree 2nd Offense at 4121 W Commercial Blvd, Tamarac, on 07/17/2020.
Ron, Radaya Sage (W F, 26) was arrested on charges of Touch Or Strike/Battery/Domestic Viol at 7719 Granville Dr, Tamarac, on 07/19/2020.
