Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates to residents, this is a summary of crimes that occurred in Tamarac from May 21 – 27. Names of those not arrested have been redacted.
Battery
5908 Manchester Way,
On May 23, a man committed Domestic Battery By Strangulation against her wife of four years.
7911 NW 73rd Ter.
On May 27, BSO responded to a domestic disturbance that occurred. The subject slapped the victim in the face several times and struck her in the arm. The subject was arrested for dating violence.
Burglary Conveyance
8101 Southgate Blvd. Gary B. Jones Dog Park
On May 21, the victim reported that her Chevrolet Traverse was burglarized while at the Gary B. Jones dog park. The front passenger side window was smashed out, and a small purse was stolen, which contained a few dollars.
11000 W McNab Rd. Sunset Point Park.
On May 23, the victim left her vehicle unlocked, and an unknown person opened the front passenger door and stole her brown purse. The purse contained the victim’s US passport, car key, debit card, and $120.
Burglary Residence
4701 Nw 44th Ct.
On May 24, BSO made contact with the resident about an attempted burglary at his residence.
DUI/Crash
8600 W McNab
On May 21, a suspect collided with two vehicles, crossed the median and hit a tree on the other side of the road.
Criminal Mischief
4905 Nw 27th Ter.
On May 23, an unknown person(s) dumped what appeared to be urine (from the smell) inside the victim’s vehicle.
Fraud
7126 N. University Dr
On May 22, the victim reported a Payday loan was taken out using their identity for $500 at the Check Cashing Store.
4101 W Commercial Blvd,
On May 23, an unknown suspect(s) withdrew $1,000 from the ATM at the above location on May 18, 2019. The Victim lives in Minnesota and had his ATM / Debit card with him.
Information
7601 N.University Drive
On May 20, reported May 21, a marked BSO unit had damage caused by the parking stone.
8790 W McNab Rd. Walgreens
On May 21, unknown person(s) tampered with multiple gift cards by putting another bar code over the original.
5780 Rock Island Rd,
On May 21, BSO met with Cpis Investigator reference to an allegation of domestic violence. There was no answer at the residence.
2322 Nw 52nd Ct.
On May 22, the resident wanted to document her ex-husband slandering her name and making false sexual statements about her on a Facebook blog.
Nw 74th Pl,
On May 22, the caller advised she has been having an ongoing dispute with her neighbor for approximately two years. She said her neighbor is Jamaican and said she recently found CD/DVD`s on her washing machine in her garage of Jamaicans engaged in pornography. She also advised she had cameras installed on her house and almost every night she sees her neighbor on the side of his house urinating.

On May 22, the victim stated his eBay and Paypal accounts were hacked and reported suffering a monetary loss of $865.79.
3873 W Commercial Blvd. Extended Stay
On May 23, the victim called to report a battery. However, she never returned to the incident location to file the report.
7515 N Pine Island Rd,
On May 24, victim recently learned an unknown suspect opened credit in her name and used her driver’s license. She already made a report with DHSMV and credit card company.
Lost Property
8245 N Pine Island Rd,
On May 22, the victim stated she lost her wallet at the Publix on 8245 NW 88th ave.
8199 N University Dr. Walgreens
On May 10, reported May 24, the victim placed his wallet on the roof of his car when he exited Walgreens and drove away.
Theft all other
White Oak Ln and Commercial Blvd,
Between May 20 and May 21, unknown suspect(s) walked into construction site which is not secured and took a man basket that was sitting on the roadway.
6900 Hiatus Rd. South Florida Grading Corp
On May 21, an unknown person stole a $50,000 GPS base unit from the construction site.
5881 N University Dr.
On May 21 and reported May 22, a resident said that while loading her groceries outside of Publix a stranger offered to help her and later she found out that her purse was missing
7006 Nw 89th Ave.
On April 30 and reported May 24, the victim accused his lawn maintenance guy of stealing a ladder from the side of his residence.
4642 Nw 44th Ct,
Between May 23 and May 24, the resident reported that he believes an acquaintance of his stole $600 from his wallet while he was taking a shower.
Theft Retail/Shoplifting
8199 N University Dr. Walgreens
On May 22, the store manager advised that three black females stole $1,009.18 worth of false eyelashes.
4193 W Commercial Blvd. Rainbow
On May 22, an unidentified white female and black male entered the store, concealed items in a bag and under their shirt and left the store without attempting to pay.

Rosa Decarmen, Maria, 62, was arrested on charges of Touch Or Strike/battery/domestic Viol at 7014 NW 57th Ct, Tamarac, on 05/22/2019.
Tschabrunn, Dianne, 53 was arrested on charges of Battery-commit Domestic Battery by Strangulation at 5908 Manchester Way, Tamarac, on 05/24/2019.
Weather, Jimmy, 37, was arrested on charges of Aggravated Battery-offender knew/should have known victim was Pregnant at 3873 W Commercial Blvd, Tamarac, on 05/25/2019.
Noel, Ronny, 31, was arrested on charges of Touch Or Strike/battery/domestic Viol at 7101 Nw 57th Ct, Tamarac, on 05/25/2019.
Duverney, Kymani A., 19, was arrested on charges of Robbery-with Weapon, at 9851 S Grand Duke Cir, Tamarac, on 05/26/2019.
Louis, Yohancey Ajani Omari, 18, was arrested on charges of Robbery-with Weapon at 9851 S Grand Duke Cir, Tamarac, on 05/26/2019.
