Dear Neighbors,

It’s springtime, and the world is slowly starting to bloom again!

Recently, the City of Tamarac has held several workshops. I am happy to report that the City remains financially strong. The City recently received a $2.3 million reimbursement from the federal CARES Act disbursed through Broward County for expenses incurred during the pandemic. Additionally, the City’s new Building Official is working hard to address the needs and concerns of residents, businesses, and contractors (even employees) to help the department function better.

This month, the City of Tamarac will screen “Hop” during its Movie in the Park event, on Friday, April 9th, at the Tamarac Sports Complex 9901 NW 77th Street. Showtime is at 8:00 p.m., and spaces are limited. Pre-registration is required and available online at Tamarac-movie-in-the-park-tickets.

Food distributions will continue this month at the following locations:

Saturday, April 3rd, 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Korean United Methodist Church of South Florida (6501 W. Commercial Blvd.)

Saturday, April 10th, 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.Korean United Methodist Church of South Florida
