The Tamarac North Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce is inviting local business owners and professionals to start September with breakfast, networking and a chance to support area students.
The Chamber will hold its September Breakfast Meeting on Thursday, Sept. 3, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at Woodmont Country Club, 7801 NW 80th Ave. in Tamarac.
The breakfast is sponsored by Hyvelle Ferguson Davis of Heart Sistas Inc., a nonprofit organization and Chamber member.
In addition to networking, attendees are encouraged to bring school supplies as part of the Chamber’s continuing effort to help students in Tamarac and North Lauderdale begin the new school year prepared.
Suggested donations include notebooks, pens, pencils, folders, markers and other basic classroom supplies.
The monthly breakfast is designed to give Chamber members and guests multiple opportunities to make business connections. Networking begins as attendees arrive at 7:30 a.m., followed by introductions at breakfast tables.
Participants will also rotate tables during the event, giving them an opportunity to meet another group of local professionals and deliver a brief introduction about themselves and their businesses. A room-wide introduction and final networking round are also planned.
According to the Chamber, the format gives attendees an opportunity to meet business owners, community leaders and other professionals while building potential client, referral and partnership relationships.
The breakfast also provides updates on developments, events and business opportunities affecting Tamarac and North Lauderdale.
Both new and longtime Chamber members are encouraged to attend, along with local professionals interested in expanding their business connections.
