Teena Ege is looking forward to the upcoming 6th Annual Biz Art in the Park.
An artist, she produces a variety of work, including photography and fluid art. She will participate in Biz Art at Hampton Pines Park in North Lauderdale on Saturday, February 7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. “I really enjoy being a part of the show, and it is fun,” she said.
Biz Art is hosted by the Tamarac North Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce.
Ege displayed some of her work at the January 8 meeting. She and John Durgan, Economic Development Manager for North Lauderdale, offered a preview of the event.
Residents and school students will display their artwork and crafts. Each North Lauderdale school will submit three examples of student art, and attendees will vote for their favorite. There will be live music, food, and entertainment. The goal is to unite local artists, businesses, volunteers, and residents for a free-to-the-public cultural experience. The event is being presented by the chamber and the city of North Lauderdale, according to Durgan.
Also, during the meeting, the 2026 Chamber Board of Directors was sworn in, and six new members were sworn in.
