We have continued providing data after our readers have requested it. Since our last update from the Florida Department of Health two days ago, positive tested Covid-19 cases in Tamarac were 1,678 Since then, that number has increased to 1,717 for a difference of 39 positive tested cases.
On Aug 7 there were 518,075 positive cases in the State of Florida, and on August 9, there are 532,806 total cases, for an increase of 14,731.
There have been 8,186 total deaths reported deaths in the State. This is 259 more since August 7. In Broward County, there have been 803 total deaths. This includes 21 new deaths in the county in the past two days.
The average age of a resident to contract COVID-19 in Broward County is 39-years-old. These figures were verified on August 9, 2020.
