Don’t miss the free big screen Movie in the Park featuring “Sing” on Friday, June 2 presented by the City of Tamarac.
In this animated film starring the voices of Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane, Scarlett Johansson, John C. Reilly, Taron Egerton, and Tori Kelly, a group of anthropomorphic animals enters a singing competition, hosted by a koala hoping to save his theater.
“Sing” includes more than 60 songs from famous artists and also has an original song by Stevie Wonder and Ariana Grande called “Faith,” which was nominated for a Golden Globe.
The activities start at 6:00 p.m. with face painting, bounce house, music, and food from participating food trucks. Plus, a free bag of popcorn. Don’t forget your blankets and lawn chairs because the because the movie begins at 8:30 p.m.
The event will be held at the Tamarac Sports Complex, located at 9901 NW 77 Street.
