The Tamarac North Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of North Lauderdale, will host the Taste of North Lauderdale on Thursday, March 26, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Polish American Club, 935 Rock Island Road.
The 18-and-over community event will feature up to 20 local restaurants offering sample tastings of their signature dishes, along with live music and a cash bar. Organizers say the event aims to showcase the city’s diverse dining scene while bringing residents and business leaders together in a lively social setting.
Participating vendors represent a wide range of cuisines from across the community. Restaurants and food vendors currently scheduled to participate include Huey Magoo’s Chicken Fingers, Tabanka – A Trini Kitchen, Island Flavor Cafe, Little Mike’s Pizza, Festival Supermarket, Bistro Creole Restaurant, Big Bang Pizzeria, El Rinconcito Salvadoreño #1, Mars Kitchen, Bakin Sunshine, Yaad Proper Restaurant and Lounge, Mrs & Mrs Crab, Broward Meat, Walmart, Wawa, Chef Wilkins and Culinary Students, and Bailey Memorial.
“This event was a tremendous success last year and continues to grow as one of the most anticipated culinary experiences in our community,” said Peter Mason, executive director of the Tamarac North Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce. “The Taste of North Lauderdale not only showcases our restaurants but also brings our community together and supports our ‘Eat North Lauderdale’ campaign to encourage dining local and supporting small businesses.”
Guests will have the opportunity to sample food, meet local business owners, and connect with community leaders and elected officials throughout the evening.
Advance tickets are $20 and must be purchased online. Tickets will not be available at the door.
