Ticket Alert: Vegas Lights and Rockabilly Nights with The NY Rockets

A Vegas-style production featuring Broadway-inspired stage sets and special effects comes to the Kings Point Palace as The NY Rockets present a live celebration of 1950s and 1960s music.

The NY Rockets deliver a concert experience inspired by the early days of rock ‘n’ roll, featuring music associated with Sun Records and artists such as Elvis Presley, Eddie Cochran, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash, Dion DiMucci, Bobby Vee, Eddy Arnold, Roy Orbison, The Ronettes, and Stray Cats.

The performance blends rockabilly, swing, blues, country, and surf rock into a staged production featuring theatrical sets, concert lighting, professional sound design, special effects, and multiple wardrobe changes. The evening includes both high-energy dance numbers and classic ballads that defined the era.

Held on Saturday, March 7, at 8 p.m., the show is $20 for Kings Point residents and $25 for guests, with tickets available online and at the venue’s box office before and on the night of the concert.

The new box office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Wednesday, and 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays. On Saturdays, tickets can be purchased at the Clubhouse from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and at the Palace from 7 to 8:15 p.m.

As a reminder, shorts are not permitted in the theater. All attendees must be 18 years or older for all shows. Kings Point Palace is open to the public.
