Westwood 5 Grand Re-Opening Party

From Westwood Five:

The grand re-opening party is scheduled for Saturday, May 7th, 2011 at 1:00 p.m.  The event will start with a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony and some words from our guest, Commissioner Harry Dressler.  After the ribbon is cut, the door to the clubhouse will be opened so residents can tour the new facility.  Board members will be available to give tours and answer questions.  Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, residents will move to the rear of the clubhouse to celebrate with a “Carnival Themed Party”. (Sorry the luau plans were changed). There will be food, fun, and games including a 42-foot long water slide, a pig roast, cotton candy, snow cones, a hot dog cart, and BBQ.  (For Westwood Residents ONLY)

We ask that all residents attending please bring a dish for others to enjoy and to please bring their own drinks.  Remember, absolutely NO GLASS is allowed in the pool area, so can or plastic bottled drinks only.  Also, no serving dishes or any other food containers that are made of glass.

Please email westwoodfive23@comcast.net to let us know what you are bringing so we can plan accordingly.

We have already had several residents book the clubhouse for future private functions and we anticipate many more.  To help facilitate the rental of the clubhouse, Rick Balino, and Tony Benedetto will now be the primary contact for residents to book the clubhouse.  You can either call Tony or Rick, or you can email them at westwoodfive23@comcast.net.

Please make sure you have at least two dates picked out for your event, as your primary date may be booked already.   In order to reserve the clubhouse, you must complete a clubhouse rental agreement which can be downloaded from our website, you must provide a check for deposit in the amount of $200.00, and you must provide a check in the amount of $100.00 for administrative rental fee.

Remember rental of the clubhouse for a function is for the exclusive use of the hall and kitchen during your function. The game room and pool areas are reserved for resident use at all times.

Parties at either pool are allowed and do not require a reservation. They are held on a first come first serve basis.

We just ask that you please be considerate of residents if you choose to host a party at the pool.
