
Women Veteran luncheon in 2025 {Michelle J. Gomez}
Women veterans are invited to a special luncheon in Tamarac celebrating their service to the nation, and attendees will also receive free mobile phones through a partnership between the Rotary Club of Coral Springs and the Coral Springs Veterans Coalition.
The Women Veterans Luncheon, sponsored by Tamarac Mayor Michelle J. Gomez in honor of Women Veterans Day, will take place on Friday, June 12, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The View at Colony West, located at 6850 NW 88th Ave. in Tamarac.
As part of the event, the Rotary Club of Coral Springs and the Coral Springs Veterans Coalition will distribute free mobile phones to veterans who attend the luncheon. The phones are provided under a national program.
The luncheon will recognize and honor the contributions and sacrifices of women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Attendees will have an opportunity to connect with fellow veterans while enjoying a complimentary meal and special recognition.
