Various fall festivities will soon commence, including the ever-popular pumpkin patches in October. Here are several we found near us.
1. Parkridge Church Pumpkin Patch
When: September 30 – October 30
The pumpkin patch hosted at Parkridge Church offers free admission for guests. All Proceeds will go toward the Parkridge Youth Ministry. Admission is free.
Patch Hours: Monday – Friday 3:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., Sunday noon – 6:30 p.m.

2. Haunted Hamptons
When: October 14 – 15, 21 – 22 & 28, with gates open at 7 p.m. and close at 9 p.m.
The City of North Lauderdale Haunted Hamptons festival is back for 2022, where attendees walk through a Halloween-themed event featuring tons of scares! General admission is $10, and a haunted fast pass is available for $15.

3. Boca Raton Pumpkin Patch Festival
When: October 15 – 16 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
This event is for the whole family! A carnival, live music, a food court, beer bars, and over 2,500 pumpkins will be at the center of the action. General admission is $25 for ages three and up. All tickets must be purchased in advance.

4. Deerfield Beach Fall Festival
When: October 15 from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
The City of Deerfield Beach hosts its ninth annual festival, where attendees can participate in pumpkin patches, archery, hayrides, and live entertainment activities. Admission is free.

5. Ghostly Gathering
When: October 18 from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m.
The Parkland Library hosts a scary Halloween gathering for ages 8 – 11. Please wear your costume and visit the library for scary stories and arts & crafts. A Parkland library card is required to register.

6. The Great Pumpkin Splash
When: October 19 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
The City of Tamarac pumpkin splash is an event for the whole family, with pumpkin picking, water games, music, and prizes. Tickets are $5 per person.

7. Trick or Treat with the Animals
When: Friday, October 21, 2022
The Humane Society of Broward County is transformed into Dogwarts as you trick or treat with the animals.
Where: 2070 Griffin Road from 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Tickets are 2 for $1.00.
8. Margate Fall Festival
When: October 22 from 6 p.m. – 11 p.m.
The City of Margate will hold its annual fall festival, where attendees can enjoy activities such as line dancing, pony rides, haunted houses, costume contests (for all ages), and a scarecrow-building contest! Admission is free.

9. Thrills & Chills
When: October 22 from 4 p.m. – 9 p.m.
The Coral Springs Gymnasium converts into a fall festival this Halloween. Activities include carnival games, pumpkin decorating, and a costume contest. Admission is $5 for children (ages two and up) and $3 for adults.

10. Coconut Creek’s 1st Annual Day of Giving
When: Sunday, October 23, from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m
Join Coconut Creek Subaru in partnership with Subaru of America and The Sunshine Foundation for the 1st annual Coconut Creek Day of Giving while enjoying a day full of fun, prizes, and treats for the whole family.

11. Parkland Pumpkin Patch
When: October 26 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
The Parkland pumpkin patch will feature a petting zoo, photo ops, face painting, and more.

12. Halloween Hoopla
When: October 28 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Attendees can enjoy an event for all ages, music, bounce houses, arts & crafts, and more. The first 500 kids will receive a goodie bag of treats. Admission is free.

13. Trunk or Treat
Friday, October 28, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m
the JPT student government invites the community to its first-ever Trunk or Treat, where kids are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes while strolling from vehicle to vehicle, collecting candy just as they would door-to-door.
