Two people are reported dead after a Tamarac home shooting incident after children called the police.
Details are preliminary, but the incident occurred at 7:15 a.m. Saturday morning at the Spring Lake in Tamarac, where a suspect was reportedly barricaded inside a home.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office, SWAT, and Coral Springs Police were on scene, and so far, an adult male and female were found shot dead. Another adult female was shot but is alive and being attended by Tamarac Fire Rescue. No shots were fired by law enforcement as victims were shot before BSO’s arrival.
The children inside the residence all have been removed safely.
