A BB&T bank branch located at the Sunshine Plaza in Tamarac was robbed and authorities need your help to identify the suspect.
At 9:55 a.m this morning, a man entered the BB&T location at 4211 W. Commercial Blvd, displayed a weapon and demanded money from a bank employee. There were no shots fired and no injuries. Money was taken, but authorities won’t release the amount.
The suspect is a black male wearing a checkered shirt, a hat, and baggy jeans. At this time, it is too early in the investigation to link the man with other recent bank robberies in the area.
