Malibu and Stella {Broward County Animal Care}
Broward County Animal Care is spotlighting two adorable pets this week looking for their forever homes: Malibu, a playful and protective American Staffordshire Terrier, and Stella, a gentle and affectionate Domestic Shorthair cat.
Malibu (A2372408)
Malibu, a 4-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier, has stolen the hearts of everyone she meets. Thanks to her joyful personality and affectionate nature, this friendly and intelligent pup is the ideal addition to any family. Whether enjoying a doggy day out or a stint in a foster home, Malibu’s charm has left a lasting impression.
Malibu is fully crate-trained, potty-trained, and well-behaved, making her easy to care for. She loves going on walks, has a great appetite, and is wonderful with kids. While she thrives as the only pet in the home, she offers more than enough love to make up for it. Strong and protective, Malibu brings a comforting sense of security to her family.
Stella (A2401208)
Stella, an 8-year-old Domestic Shorthair, is a gentle and affectionate kitty with a heart full of love. After being surrendered to the shelter due to an eviction, Stella has been adjusting to shelter life with grace and warmth.
Though she may be a little shy initially, Stella quickly warms up to her new friends and loves being petted, especially around her neck. She’s the perfect cuddle buddy for cozy evenings at home and enjoys rolling into your hand for affection.
Thanks to The Pet Project, Stella comes with free food, vaccines, preventatives, and access to reduced-cost medical care for the rest of her life once adopted.
If you’re ready to add a new member to your family, you can meet Malibu and Stella at Broward County Animal Care, located at 2400 SW 42nd Street in Fort Lauderdale. Every pet adopted from the shelter is vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and comes with a Broward County Pet Registration Tag—all at no cost.
