The holidays are around the corner and you and your family don’t want to miss the Annual Lighting of the Christmas Tree and Craft Fair presented by the City of Tamarac Parks and Recreation Department.
Held at the Tamarac Community Center on December 2, festivities will begin at at 6 p.m. followed by the Annual Lighting of the Christmas Tree at 6:30 p.m. The event will include a special commission holiday message followed by performances from both the Tamarac and Challenger Elementary School recorder ensembles and the Tamarac Elementary and the Renaissance Charter School Chorus.
After that, there will be a Christmas tree and a Menorah lighting followed by a visit from Santa Claus, a craft fair, and fun for the children.
The Tamarac Community Center is located at 8601 W. Commercial Blvd.
