Tamarac to Host HOA Workshop on Tree Removal, Permits, and Trimming Regulations

Tamarac Commissioner Morey Wright will host HERS: Honoring Exceptionally Regal Sisters, a community celebration recognizing the strength, culture and contributions of Caribbean women, on Saturday, Aug. 29.

The free event will take place from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Tamarac Community Center, 8601 W. Commercial Blvd.

Designed to celebrate the spirit of Caribbean women, the afternoon will feature fashion, music, sisterhood, recognition and empowerment.

A limited number of free tickets are available for Tamarac residents. Residents can reserve tickets by calling 954-597-3479. A valid ID is required to claim tickets, and they will be distributed while supplies last.
