Joey and the Paradons bring classic doo-wop to the Kings Point Palace, reviving the sounds of Brooklyn and the Bronx from the 1950s and 1960s.
The group, performing since 1959, offers a nostalgic trip back to the early days of street corner harmony. From So Young by the Ronettes and Mama Said by The Shirelles to At The Hop by Danny & The Juniors, the Paradons play the best songs of the era.
Held on Saturday, August 17, at 8 p.m., the show is $10 for Kings Point residents and $15 for guests. Tickets are available online and at the venue’s box office before and on the night of the concert.
The new box office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday and 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays. On Saturdays, tickets can be purchased at the Clubhouse from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and at the Palace from 7 to 8:15 p.m.
As a reminder, shorts are not permitted in the theater, and all attendees must be 18 years or older for all shows. Kings Point Palace is open to the public.
The Palace at Kings Point is located at 7622 NW 76th St. in Tamarac.
