Principal Jason Nault
By: Sharon Aron Baron
It was just two years ago that Jason Nault was hired as JP Taravella’s newest principal after Shawn Cerra was named Director of Athletics for Broward County Public Schools.
But it wouldn’t last long.
According to Chief School Performance & Accountability Officer Dr. Valerie Wanza, Nault informed her that his departure will take place at the end of October.
Nault also informed his staff in a meeting that took place last week that he is relocating out-of-state.
Before he worked at JP Taravella, Nault spent 11 years with Chicago Public Schools as school principal, assistant principal, and as a dean of students and five years as a teacher.
The district said that proper protocol will be followed for a replacement.
