Man’s Body Discovered in Tamarac Canal

Detectives are investigating the death of an adult male found floating in a Tamarac canal.

On Friday, March 5, at approximately 8:15 a.m., the Broward Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about a body found floating in a canal near the 9200 block of Southgate Blvd — west of Pine Island Road.

Divers and Tamarac Fire Rescue responded to the scene and discovered the body of an adult male. Homicide detectives are investigating at this time.
