Tamarac State of the City address by Mayor Michelle Gomez. {City of Tamarac}
Dear Neighbors,
While April showers may have started in March this year, we welcome the rain to bring our landscaping back to life, fill our canals, and remind us that sometimes it is fun to play in the puddles!
You know where else is fun to play – at the dog park! Our welcoming City is going to the dogs in three areas:
The Westside Dog Park on NW 108th Terrace is back in the planning stages.
The City is looking into a designated pathway around a portion of the Sports Complex for people and their pups, and The Gary B. Jones Park for Pups and People will stay open later (times being announced), and we are looking into lighting the park.
We’re excited to share that the Wet & Wild Egg Splash is officially sold out!
Thank you to everyone who showed interest in this fun-filled event taking place on Saturday, April 4th, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Caporella Aquatic Center (9300 NW 58th St)!
