Pets Rico and Jiminy Seek Forever Homes at the Humane Society

Rico and Jiminy {Humane Societ of Broward County}

Rico, a friendly 4-year-old dog, and Jiminy, an adventurous 9-week-old kitten, are waiting for loving homes at the Humane Society of Broward County.

Rico’s Story: From Puerto Rico to Fort Lauderdale

Rico’s journey began in Puerto Rico, where he was discovered as a puppy by a loving family who brought him back to the United States.

Now, at four years old, Rico needs a new home due to space constraints faced by his previous family. This amiable canine thrives on outdoor activities and enjoys cooling off in air-conditioned spaces after playtime.

Rico is described as friendly with other dogs and cats, making him a versatile addition to any pet-loving household. His ideal family would be active and able to dedicate time to his energetic needs.

Jiminy: The Playful Tiger Kitten

At just over two pounds, Jiminy is a tiger kitten bursting with energy and curiosity. This 9-week-old feline is looking for his forever family, and his playful nature promises endless entertainment.

Jiminy is part of a duo, with his brother Juno also available for adoption. For those with room in their hearts and homes for two kittens, adopting both Jiminy and Juno could double the joy and laughter.

Jiminy is just one of the many kittens available at the shelter, each ready to find a loving home.
