Pinecrest Bakery has expanded its South Florida footprint with the opening of its first location in Lauderhill, a milestone that also marks the company’s 25th restaurant and sixth franchise location.
Founded in 2012 as a single neighborhood bakery serving Latin pastries and cafecito, Pinecrest Bakery has grown into one of South Florida’s most recognizable Latin food brands. The new Lauderhill restaurant represents the company’s first entry into the local market and reflects its continued expansion across Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
“This is a huge milestone for us,” said owner Joel Rodriguez. “Opening our first location in Lauderhill while reaching 25 restaurants and six franchise partners shows the strength of the brand and the demand we’re seeing across South Florida. Franchising allows us to grow alongside passionate partners who want to bring Pinecrest Bakery to their own communities.”
The Lauderhill store is also the company’s sixth franchise location, attracting entrepreneurs interested in investing in a concept with strong brand recognition, operational support, and an established customer base.
At the new location, customers will find Pinecrest Bakery’s full menu of traditional Latin favorites and bakery offerings. The menu includes freshly baked pastelitos, croquetas, and other savory items, pressed sandwiches, made-to-order meals, house-made desserts, and specialty coffee drinks.
Known for blending traditional Latin flavors with a modern bakery atmosphere, Pinecrest Bakery has built a loyal following by offering familiar classics while expanding its menu to appeal to a broader audience.
