Tamarac is about to get a new restaurant.
Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers will hold a grand opening at 7555 West Commercial Boulevard on Tuesday, May 13 at 9:00 a.m., according to the Tamarac North Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce events calendar.
The restaurant specializes in chicken fingers and offers various-sized meals of chicken fingers, fries, and coleslaw with sauce. It also offers chicken sandwiches and Texas toast.
Raising Cane’s was founded by Todd Graves, now the CEO, and his friend Craig Silvey in 1996 near Louisiana State University. The chain is headquartered in Baton Rouge, LA, and is named after Graves’s dog at the time, Raising Cane. The restaurant has locations throughout the U.S. and personifies the entrepreneurial spirit, according to the Raising Cane’s website.
