The South Florida Depression Glass Club will present its annual Vintage American Glass and Pottery Show & Sale the weekend of Feb. 21–22 at the Tamarac Community Center, offering collectors and enthusiasts a chance to browse and purchase a wide array of antique and vintage glassware and pottery.
The two-day event, designed for both novice and experienced collectors, will feature national and local dealers displaying styles that span Art Deco, Depression Era, and Mid-Century Modern, from elegant goblets and barware to quirky ceramic cookie jars, mixing bowls, glass animals, and more.
Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday with a special early-buying session from 9 to 10 a.m. ($15 admission), and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. General admission is $9 for both days, and a $1-off coupon is available on the club’s website.
In addition to browsing and buying, attendees will enjoy features such as onsite glass repair by expert John Forrester, appearances by Fenton Glass author John Walk with books available for sale and signing, educational displays, hourly door prizes, raffles and a free gift while supplies last. Free parking will be available on site.
The show takes place at Tamarac Community Center, 8601 West Commercial Blvd., Tamarac. For more information, contact the club at mapiercefla@gmail.com or visit their site at sfdgc.com/annual-show.
