Incidents
Two people were charged with simple battery after a mutual fight at a strip mall on North State Road 7.
A vacated tenant allegedly rented out a room in a home without the homeowner’s permission, resulting in an $850 fraud report.
A vehicle window was damaged, possibly by landscaping debris. Nothing was stolen from the vehicle.
A woman reported that an HOA president threw a circular saw at her front door, damaging it, after becoming upset about work vehicles blocking the road. He also allegedly threatened to call a friend with a gun. The victim plans to seek a restraining order.
A missing cellphone was found in another shopper’s cart and returned to its owner.
