Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with the residents, this is a summary of Tamarac crime events through January 1, 2024.
Death
A victim of Death Investigation on 12/26/2023. The victim was found unresponsive in her apartment after a fire broke out. Homicide detectives responded and took over the investigation.
Fraud
A victim of Fraud – All Other on 12/26/2023. The total estimated loss was $10,000.
A victim of Fraud – All Other on 12/28/2023. The total estimated loss was $5,000.
Theft
A victim of Theft – All Other on 12/26/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,000. The victim reports that the previous caretaker removed a WWE championship belt with a celebrity signature from his residence.
Compass Group USA Inc. was a victim of auto theft on 12/28/2023. A white Nissan van was stolen from the front of Woodmont Hospital.
A victim of Auto Theft on 12/30/2023. A known suspect took a 2018 black Mercedes AMG GLE 43.
Robbery
A victim of Robbery-Carjacking on 12/26/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,020.
Fire
A victim of Fire on 12/28/2023. The total estimated loss was $4,500 worth of house goods and appliances. Units responded to a residential building about an apartment on Fire.
A victim of Fire on 12/29/2023. The resident was frying food when her stove caught on Fire, causing the home to be inhabitable.
Burglary
A victim of Burglary Conveyance on 12/28/2023. An adult male reported someone broke into his Black Kia Optima and broke the ignition. The total estimated loss was $1,000.
Shooting
A victim of Shooting / Unlawful Discharge on 12/29/2023. The reporting parties both found holes in their backyard fence. A projectile was found.
Threats
A victim of Threats / Intimidation on 12/31/2023. The victim was called and had her nude photos posted on Instagram by a stranger who messaged her.
Arrests
Toledo, Kendra, 23, was arrested on a charge of Touch Or Strike/Battery/Domestic Violence on 12/27/2023.
Sineas, Licene, 29, was arrested on a Robbery-Carjacking Without Firearm Or Weapon charge on 12/27/2023.
Graham, Michael, Anthony, 61, was arrested on a charge of Warrant- Leave The Scene Of A Crash With Serious Bodily Injury on 12/29/2023.
Mcleod, Shania, Janessa, 20, was arrested on a charge of Aggravated Assault on 12/30/2023.
Stanley, Keven, Renel, 38, was arrested on a Battery-Commit Domestic Battery By Strangulation charge on 12/30/2023.
Rosier, Dylen, Perry, 20, was arrested on a charge of Touch Or Strike/Battery/Domestic Violence on 01/01/2024.
Lacourciere, Chandler, Eric, 30, was arrested on a charge of Dui Alcohol Or Drugs 1 Offense on 01/01/2024.
