Fraud – Impersonation
A victim of Fraud – Impersonation on NW 78 Avenue was reported on: 05/16/2023. The total estimated loss was: $1,321. The victim advised that her grandmother had been defrauded by her niece.
Fraud – All Other
A victim of Fraud – All Other on NW 62 Avenue was reported on: 05/19/2023. The total estimated loss was: $400. The victim was scammed into sending an American Express Gift Card to an unknown person claiming to work for Priceline.
Theft – All Other
A victim of Theft – All Other on W McNab Road was reported on: 05/17/2023. The total estimated loss was: $5,610.
A victim of Theft – All Other on W Commercial Blvd was reported on: 05/16/2023. The total estimated loss was: $212.
Theft – Retail / Shoplifting
A victim of Theft – Retail / Shoplifting on W Commercial Blvd was reported on: 05/18/2023. The total estimated loss was: $2,967.
A victim of Theft – Retail / Shoplifting on N Pine Island Road was reported on: 05/16/2023. The total estimated loss was: $1,019. Two male subjects walked into the store and stole two pool vacuums.
A victim of Theft Retail Shoplifting on W Commercial Blvd was reported on: 05/18/2023. The total estimated loss was: $408.
A victim of Theft – Retail / Shoplifting on W Commercial Blvd was reported on: 05/19/2023. The total estimated loss was: $206.
Theft – Motor Vehicle Parts
A victim of Theft – Motor Vehicle Parts on Woodlands Blvd was reported on: 05/17/2023. Toyota Tacoma Tires and rims worth $2,000 were stolen.
Threat Assessment
A Threat Assessment Report on NW 94 Avenue was reported on: 05/17/2023. A student was overheard saying something about shooting up the school.
Burglary Conveyance
A victim of Burglary Conveyance on N State Road 7 was reported on: 05/17/2023. The total estimated loss was $2,350. The victim stated that an unknown suspect(s) broke into her vehicle and stole her purse containing several credit cards, Burberry glasses, and a makeup set.
A victim of Burglary Conveyance on W Commercial Blvd was reported on: 05/19/2023. The total estimated loss was: $6,832. A Red Honda Pilot had the rear driver-side window shattered and multiple electronics and purses taken from the vehicle’s rear.
Aggravated Assault
A victim of Aggravated Assault on W Commercial Blvd was reported on: 05/19/2023. The reporting person advised that a known subject pointed a handgun at him after refusing to give him his bag.
Forgery
A victim of Forgery on N University Drive was reported on: 05/21/2023. The Assistant Customer Service Manager called to report that a subject entered the store this morning and cashed a fake $472.05 check.
Shooting / Unlawful Discharge
A victim of Shooting / Unlawful Discharge at Woodlands Blvd/NW 60 Street was reported on: 05/22/2023. The victim was intoxicated and argued with their boyfriend over someone calling her cell phone. He took her phone away, and he drove away. The boyfriend fired his gun while she was getting out of his vehicle, and they struggled with the firearm and phone, and a shooting occurred.
Arrests
Filius, Pierrela, 37, was arrested on a Warrant – Grand Theft 1st Deg charge at 5810 NW 56 Place on 05/17/2023.
Pierre Louis, Widley, Marvin, 31, was arrested on a Touch Or Strike/Battery/Dating Violence charge at NW 58 Avenue on 05/17/2023.
Liroff, Shaylee Rae, 21, was arrested on a Touch Or Strike/Battery/Dating Violence charge at NW 75 Street on 05/18/2023.
Guzman, Ariel, David, 28, was arrested on a charge of Larceny – Petit Theft 1st Degree 100 Less 750 Dollars at W Commercial Blvd on 05/18/2023.
Monvil, Eddy, 36, was arrested on a Warrant after Failing To Register a Vehicle at 7501 NW 57 Street on 05/18/2023.
Bannah, Wayne, 36, was arrested on a charge of Dui Alcohol Or Drugs 2nd Offense at 8810 W Commercial Blvd on 05/20/2023.
