Aggravated Assault
NW 60th Ave.
On 12/19/2021, the victim stated that his next-door neighbor asked him to lower the volume of his music. The victim refused to lower the volume, and an aggravated assault was committed.
Burglary Conveyance
W. Commercial Blvd.
On 12/19/2021, the victim noticed that the vehicle she parks behind her restaurant business was broken into. The suspect broke the vehicle’s rear passenger window and took several items that were left in the vehicle. Tot. Est. Loss: $1,800.
W. Commercial Blvd.
On 12/17/2021, the victim’s vehicle was broken into near the rear of his his business. Tot. Est. Loss: $40.
Prospect Rd.
On 12/17/2021, the victim advised that she arrived at Caporella Park at 5:10 p.m. and returned to her vehicle at 5:45 p.m. She found that someone had smashed her driver’s side window to enter her vehicle.
Resisting Arrest
Lagos De Campo Blvd.
On 12/15/2021, a juvenile took a vehicle without permission, went for a joy ride, and was driving recklessly in the city of Tamarac. The vehicle crashed and was disabled, and the driver fled the scene. The driver was located and taken into custody after fleeing on foot and resisting w/o violence.
Retail Theft
W. Commercial Blvd.
On 12/16/2021, deputies spoke with the manager on duty, who advised that the Oral-B Bandits were back in the store and stole 5 Oral-B Toothbrushes within the span of 2 minutes. Tot. Est. Loss: $149.
Wire Fraud
N. Devon Dr.
On 12/17/2021, the victim wire transferred a total of $15,000 to an unknown subject who promised to process her grant of $100,000. Tot. Est. Loss: $15,200.
Arrests
Bienaime, Jeffrey, 41, was arrested on charges of Possession Of Cocaine on W Commercial Blvd on 12/15/2021.
Pena, Allen Michael, 44, was arrested on charges of Damage Prop-crim Misch-1000 Dols on W McNab Rd on 12/16/2021.
Overbeck, Jason Lee, 43, was arrested on charges of Battery-commit Domestic Battery By Strangulation on W Commercial Blvd on 12/17/2021.
