January 27-28 – Tires and wheels were stolen overnight from multiple vehicles in Tamarac. Estimated losses:

January 28-31 – Several individuals were placed under the Baker Act due to suicidal threats or mental health crises.
Burglary – Business
January 28 – Unknown suspects forced entry into Tamarac Pharmacy at 7120 N Nob Hill Rd.
Theft & Fraud Cases
January 29 – A victim’s personal information was fraudulently used to apply for COVID relief funds, resulting in an IRS debt of $26,000.
January 29 – A victim was scammed into buying fake iPhones on Facebook Marketplace, losing $750.
January 30 – A suspect fraudulently obtained a $25,000 loan by impersonating a victim.
Battery & Assault
January 28-31 – Several cases of battery were reported, including domestic disputes and altercations at businesses.
Shoplifting & Grand Theft
January 30 – A suspect was arrested for shoplifting at Publix on W Commercial Blvd, with a total loss of $98.
January 30 – A suspect was arrested for grand theft of over $20,000.
Arrests
January 28 – Nicolas Alberto Munoz Abud, 18, was arrested for domestic battery.
January 29 – A 31-year-old male was arrested for aggravated battery causing bodily harm in a dating violence case.
January 29 – Omar Vargas, 44, was arrested for DUI.
January 30 – Kenneth Ledale Lewis, 59, was arrested for petit theft (third offense).
January 30 – Michael Ryan Jackson, 36, was arrested for grand theft exceeding $20,000.
January 31 – Tousner Terrance Metelus, 29, was arrested for domestic battery.
February 1 – Fanny Alemany, 53, was arrested for domestic battery.
